I'm just curious what some of you think about this. I've experimented with not reading all the AC's in order to save time for harder questions. My reasoning is this: for LR, for the first 10 questions I'm usually able to prephrase the answer and immediately find the match. Is it really worth reading all the other choices for easy questions? I understand for the harder questions it is of course best to do so, but I'm thinking if I don't read everything I might buy myself a couple more minutes for the harder questions. And for RC, what if I'm able to literally put my finger on the corresponding piece of text that matches an AC? Worth reading all the others? The only reason I ask is because although I've gotten better with timing over the past week, I still tend to finish just on the mark and I'm really rushing at the end forcing me to get a couple wrong that I could figure out with more time.

When I rush through the beginning by not reading answer choices, I often make mistakes. There'll be answer that looks right, but I end up getting it wrong and if I would have read through answer choices, I would have gotten it right.

I've seen many people suggest getting through the first ten in ten minutes, and it's easily doable even if you read them all.

Sometimes I do skip reading all the answer choices on LR. I haven't missed a question from doing this yet, but I only do it on questions where the flaw or assumption is GLARINGLY obvious. Similarly, if it is a super straightforward and simple RC question, I might not read all the ACs once I found the correct answer. There generally are only 1 or 2 questions like this for me per section.

I do this too. I'm generally looking for key words or language cues. This goes for the earliest questions though, nothing past 15 or so.

Always read all of the ACs. Always. The test is designed to make you pick wrong answers if you don't.
