Thanks everyone! I'm going to prep on my own, and I'm also doing the virtual Powerscore class. Obviously I'm aiming for a 180 but I'd be happy with anything in the 170s!

157 cold (and lowest ever) -> 169 (Oct.) -> ??? (retaking in June)

i was completely hungover (probably still drunk, lol college right?), took the test cold, got a 176. i bought the powerscore LG bible and just read the front and back covers, increased my score to a 179. i would have had a 180 for sure but i fell asleep for like 20 min of the logic games section and didn't have time to double check all of my answers. it's no big deal.

150 cold, and i seem to remember a little bit of cheating

I definitely took extra breaks between sections
got my score up to a 166

shooting for 170 in June, ive done it on prep tests

146 on cold practice test. Ended up with a 163. Went to UVa as a reverse splitter. So all my time/money/tears worrying about my poor LSAT was all in vain.

164. I wasn't sure whether we could write on the test itself, so I did the logic games in my head. I ended up getting a 172 on the actual test.
If my LSAT score indicates how well I will do in law school, did the month I spent preparing for the test make me a better student?

I got a 166 on my diagnostic last week. I didn't get to the last three questions in the Analytical Reasoning section because I ran out of time, and the rest of my wrong answers were spread out almost equally (3,3,4) among the other three sections. I'm aiming high and will soon start prepping hard, we'll see what happens later in the year.

yeah...that wasn't supposed to be a flame, obviously, as it is overly ridiculous. it was simply an agreement with:

I know a guy who diag'd at like 173 and got a 171 on the real test IIRC

Got a 162 on first diag (after reading half of the LG bible), was pting between 165-174 during the powerscore course, and reallllly underperformed on test day (166 in dec after 3 hours of sleep and I'm not a morning person). Waiting on feb results!

Diagnostic: 154

After 2 months of studying I ranged from 158-162 in PTs

LSAT 1: 156

Decided to retake, but didn't do a damn thing to prep

LSAT 2: 163

Go figure.

165 diagnostic, studied and brought my PT range up to 173-178 but bombed October and ended up with a 168. Waiting on Feb results now and hoping for 172+!

It's reflective of what kind of law student you will be, you will work hard to do well, hopefully

it took me a month to get into the 160s and i had to become a faster reader to get there

155. I was going through caffeine withdrawal during the test (essentially a migraine) and considered just walking out, but I somehow finished. I couldn't focus worth shit, so I'm not sure how indicative it was of my actual ability w/o any prep. I ended up with a 175.

One of my good friends got a 171 on his diagnostic, then proceeded to score lower on the actual test. It's all about how hard you work.

a low GPA + 163 is enough to get into UVA? I'd expect a low GPA & a 170+ to UVA.
