Yeah we never get to find out the curve from what I understand.

i found the LR and RC sections to be a breeze, but I wanted to hang myself after the first section (LG)...I kept going through hoping it was an experimental, and then subsequently did well on the next LG section, only to be disappointed when I came here to find the bad news. Well, I can be thankful that the idea that my LG section could have been experimental gave me the will to push through. I haven't given up yet.

Please tell me those who didn't have 3 LR's, is the "baby can only understand 2 words at a time" and "pesticide X" are in the experimental LR?

This was section 3 for me. It had 26 questions.

LR-LG-LR(26)-LR(27)-RC

Awesome, for sure-- depends on just how breezy the LR's and RC were, but I think if you got even one game and bombed the other three you're likely to still be above 160. Don't know if that's good news to you or not, but no need to give up.

I'm not sure how accurate this is, but I remember hearing the exp. is traditionally always in the first half...

That's good news. We will see how I do.

FFFFFF!!!

I was really hoping movies was real. I completely blew the first section. I'm hoping for at least in the upper 150's to beat my last score. At worst I went -4 LR -11 LG -11 RC -7 LR. For -33. Damn it. At best maybe -28 I am pretty great at LR, but had to guess 2 on the harder LR (all guesses were the same letter to maximize potential for correct answer).

Completely missed one RC passage and guessed on about a game's worth of questions in LG. Damn it all. Well, gonna decide now if I think it's worth it to let my apps be processed without the new score and hopefully just get any remaining boost I can from being processed earlier.

Good luck to all Feb test takers today and may the curve Gods shine on us even though many don't feel it was that hard of test.

Please, anyone who felt it was, please feel free to assuage my concerns :D

Ah my bad, I thought you wrote that this was the third LR for you.

Seemed the easiest out of the past 4 to me, unfortunately I botched the pet-owner game because I was super apprehensive. Went back and re-did it so hopefully I only missed 1-2. Would be shocked if this was more than -11/170 feels like a -10 to me.

You'll be alright.

Circling the same letter doesn't really maximize your chances though... Each game has a random 1/5 chance

I know the #18 or #19 in my section 4 (LR) was about parallel reasoning -- some spice used, none spices used or something like that.

I know that was a real LR.

Was a hard test IMO

That was true until the last test, where it was section 4. So you can't tell by that anymore.

Did you have 2 LR's? The baby question was like #3 or #4 on that LR. I am hoping that was the exp.

What was up with that LG? Usually when one game is that hard there are three breezy ones to compensate. Thankfully the rest of the test was somewhere between easy and normal.

I just mean it's better to guess all of the same answer as it's more likely than if you randomly guess A, B, C, D, E. Powerscore outlined the usefulness in this strategy better than I can :D

Was a hard test IMO
Here's to a high curve friend.

Seriously... no selection games or 2 group as some call it

Yeah, usually the game get progressively harder. It seemed like all were the same level; they were difficult, and I've done every logic game out there.

While a selection game would have been great,
We had a sequencing, matching, hybrid sequencing matching, and a matching lol

Selection is practically a gimme if your solid in formal logic, but they can be time consuming depending on the rules and questions

Usually the first game is a 4 minute sequencing breeze, I actually found that first game pretty time consuming for a first game. I think wed morning was the easiest...

I think that is for questions you have absolutely no idea how to answer. As answer "D" has historically been more of a correct option than any of the other questions, for every question you have no clues, the advice is to choose D.

And that time consuming sequencing game was a real pain in the ass, especially as the first thing I had to do on the test.
