Are they different? Don't they both involve pointing out an assumption that will logically complete the argument?

I don't understand why Powerscore classifies them differently. Anyone know?

Justify the conclusion questions are the same thing as sufficient assumption questions.
Powerscore does not classify them as two different types. They call them Justify the Conclusion questions while other prep sources refer to them as sufficient assumption questions.

There are also necessary assumption questions. Those are different than sufficient assumption questions. Sufficient vs. necessary. Is that the distinction you are confused about?

If you are using prep books from multiple different companies you may be getting confused about the labels/taxonomies of the logical reasoning question types since different companies refer to the same question types with different titles/phrases/labels.
