In at Michigan, February LSAT for $$?
Hey guys,
So I was wondering if it would even be worth the $140ish dollars to try and increase my LSAT score for a scholarship at Mich. Right now I'm at a 169 from June 2011, but in the time since I've taught an LSAT course which really forced me to understand everything about the test (as well as provide me with a TON of free prep material ). Took two PTs the last couple of months and got a 172 and a 174 (on tests I haven't seen before). Do you think all of the scholly money will have been allocated by the time Feb. scores are released, even if I would improve? Sorry if something like this has already been asked...couldn't find it via the search function. Thanks in advance!

Absolutely worth it. Think about the expected return on this investment. The most you could lose is $140, but the most you could gain would be thousands.

This is where you should use some of that reasoning ability that allowed you to get into Michigan to begin with...
Congrats on UM & good luck on scholly $$$.

I might check with Dean Z, but this sounds like a great idea

Co-sign. This can be a great strategy, and well worth the effort, but try to confirm with the admissions office that it won't be in vain. I'm doing it, but I received confirmation first, along with the score I need according to that school's scholarship index formula.JamMasterJ wrote:I might check with Dean Z, but this sounds like a great idea

Yeah? Sounds great--good luck! If you don't mind, what were the scores needed for scholarships?QuincyWagstaff wrote:Co-sign.
