Should I cancel if I think I did worse this time? Forum

169 in October. 14 wrong. Studied a lot this past month, but I froze and I don't really think I got less than 14 wrong (although curve may be different)...and I might've gotten worse.

My question is...do law schools care if your first score is higher than the second? Doubt I did worse than 165 or so...but who really knows. Is this really a bad thing? Should I view any score likely to be lower than my first as something I should cancel?

3.35 from a top 10 (or maybe 5 not sure where rankings are this year)...want to go to a school in the 20s-40s in the SE (UT is the best school I have any interest in and I know im a longshot there)...but I want $ if possible. Guess that does play a factor...

Why wouldn't they care exactly? Is it simply that they only report the highest score anyway? Doesn't a second lower score indicate set a floor for you being worse than the initial score?

no one cares. schools report the highest score, so if your intial score would grant you admission, they will not care about your lower score.
