I am done with the LSAT! I really hope you all did well. I've never posted on here before, but I've been following the October 2011 LSAT threads for awhile. I'd like to thank you all for the insight and humor.
So, here's my quick story: In late 2010 and early 2011, I was preparing for the LSAT. I had not read TLS before, so I wasn't 100% sure what I was getting into. Dealing with certain family sicknesses at the time, the anxiety got the best of me. My 153 PT average turned into a 148 on test day.
Come October 2011, I scored a 163. Obviously, this is not the "170 or bust" score many TLSers desire, but I must say it's a true personal accomplishment. TLS advice, PithyPike's guide, the TLS RC guides, the October thread ridiculousness/hysteria, and two-and-a-half months of 40/week self-study paid off. I'm in a peculiar situation as I'm fortunate enough that my parents will pay for my law school and my father already owns a successful law firm. But that's not the point. Point is, if you did not score as well as you did, hard work and dedication will pay off! Stay inspired and sail strong! You are all capable of complete success.
So, in parting, thank you so much TLS and I wish all LSAT takers, re-takers, and future takers the best of luck!
DRINK TIME!
