I think I got mine around 8pm Pacific, and people had been getting their scores most of the day. That day at work SUCKED.

This might be a dumb question, but are we able to submit apps in full (with an LSAT score) right after the email with the score is sent? Or is an app only considered completed once the scores are officially released?

Er, the email means your score has been officially released. I'm pretty sure that as soon as you get the email, your score shows up in your LSAC account and will be included in any apps you click 'submit' on. (The various PDFs of the test and your answer sheet may take a while longer to appear.)

It seems to me that I had to wait until the following day to submit apps. The email is very clearly NOT an offical score report.

It seems to me that I had to wait until the following day to submit apps. The email is very clearly NOT an offical score report.

After you get the email the score shows up on your LSAC account within a matter of hours at the latest, in my case they were near simultaneous. Once the score shows up in your account it is official.

I know people who got them around 3 or 4 PM, while other people got them close to midnight (all east coast)

I took the test twice. First time I got the email at 9:30, second time at 2:00.
