Hi all, what's the general wisdom regarding number of tests in the following situations:
One test, a cancellation, then a second test (showing decent improvement - hopefully).
vs.
A test, a second test showing modest improvement, then a third test showing more modest improvement.
Is one of these far more preferable than the other? If there was a large break (over a year and a half) in between the first test and the second two tests, can that be explained in some sort of letter, helping to mitigate the significance of the first test?
Thoughts appreciated!
Thanks

Re: 2 Scores + 1 Cancellation VS. 3 Scores
If you get a 160, then a year and a half later get a 167, then a few months later get a 172...nothing will matter, no explanation will be need. If you go 150, 155, 159...then maybe. If you break 170, your golden. But not, there isn't a huge difference in your above hypotheticals.

The only time it'd really need explanation is if you had a downward trend. And a point or two isn't something I'd explain. 5-10 points, however, is.
