I'm scoring around 153 and 155. Should I go ahead and take test in October or wait until December?

Still struggling with LR and RC. Improved a lot in LG.

Suggestions?

Thanks in advance. :)

You answer your own question. You're still struggling, so you're not ready.

There's no school that will accept you with a 155 that's worth paying money for.

You need a new study plan if you've been at this a while and aren't making real progress. As for LG, what do you mean by improved a lot? You need to be routinely hitting -0 on LG. Those points are there for the taking.

You'll need to find another ten points before you're of interest to schools worth attending. Thereafter, each and every point above that will mean better schools or more money.

I clicked on this thread thinking "154." Need to get out of the library. And you should wait.

Your TLS profile shows that you have "applied" to 14 law schools; is this correct ? If so, your LSDAS GPA of 2.7 is quite low for most law schools. Your GPA/LSAT numbers make admittance to a Tier One law school unlikely, in my opinion.

How are you preparing for the LSAT ?

whoever recommended the list of schools you applied to should be shot. what are you doing? (forget all this if you are a URM Olympic gold medalist combat vet with a grand daddy on the Supreme Court)

Good advice. Particularly the part about the new study plan if you haven't been making real progress. Where are you making your mistakes? How have you been studying? Do you have a good handle on the different question types and are making mistakes as a result of fatigue/loss of concentration or are you making mistakes because you're down to two or three choices and don't know why the correct one is correct?

Yes, I had the same problem. Except the opposite, I was struggling with LG and doing very well in LR and RC (especially RC). If you're getting over 20-21 on LG - - - take in October if you can dedicate 6-7 hours a day of studying LR and RC. Unlike LG, LR and RC are just about repetition and noticing patterns...so it's about how much you do EVEN more than LG - which is more about making inferences, quickly, as the result of remembering the techniques from the bibles, etc.

I went from 155-157 to 160-65 is a month doing this, however, it was LG I needed help in...
