Value in Preptests 7-18?

Post by ThreeRivers » Thu Sep 01, 2011 1:03 am

I am wondering if there is a substantial amount of value in taking (and purchasing) prep-test 7-18, or should just practicing on prep-tests 19-38 and 52-61 be sufficient? I understand that much of the test has changed greatly (and was even produced by a different company in tests 7-18, but am wondering if they are still worth the time?

According to PowerScore, yes there is value in them.

It depends on how long will you be studying for the LSAT. There are students that do 60 PrepTests in 6 months and get 170+ because of such familiarization with the test.

note that PT 18 is not considered "modern" because it's from December 1992 and should have been the real PT 7, so some LR questions might seem odd, but everything should still be useful.
