LR reading question stem before stimulus.

Post by 6lehderjets » Sat Aug 27, 2011 7:11 pm

I am curious to know the practice of those of you are in the scoring 170s when it comes to reading logical reasoning question stems before reading the stimulus.

Powerscore definitely makes it clear that they suggest NOT doing this but I'd like to get the input of other TLS members.

Thanks!

I think there's a policy that we're supposed to limit threads on this topic to one per month. You need to wait another 10 or so days.

Although coincidentally, I'm also 177 and stimulus first. I find it hard to believe anyone scoring more than 165 couldn't get pretty much the same score reading either one first.

Prompt/question stem first.

Although I'm with suspicious android - once you get to high-160s/low-170s, it probably doesn't matter that much. However, below that, I would definitely recommend question stem, then stimulus.
