Clearly I'm missing the boat on linking items, can anyone explain how to handle these.

Do you mean in the first LR section?

Here's an explanationto #3 - Joe's car.

yes the first LR section, also the first section in the preptest. Also I've read that thread and it really doesn't make sense to me. So thank you for that link though

The stimulus can be seen like this:

Joe's car vacuumed ---> K&L employees vacuumed Joe's Car

K&L employees vacuumed Joe's Car ---> Joe took car to K&L Auto to be fixed.

Joe's car vacuumed.

Thus, Joe took car to K&L Auto to be fixed.

This is mirrored in answer choice A.

A)

Emily's glass is wet

Emily's glass is wet ---> She drank water from it this morning

She drinks water in the morning ---> Emily takes medication

Thus, we know that Emily took her medication.

Nice breakdown, Timmydoeslsat.

I looked over our discussion and you're right there isn't a good clear explanation amidst the posts - just threw it in. Thanks.
