Should i retake?

Postby john1990 » Thu Jul 14, 2011 1:54 am

I scored a 158 on the june test after averaging a 164 on some 40 prep tests. 158 is lower than ANY score i had gotten after reading the powerscore bibles. My UGPA is a low 3.28 with a high upward slope (3.7 for the last 2 years).
The next test is on October 1st at 8:30am, i am not a morning person and that is my 21st birthday :| , figures

EDIT-and that’s a Saturday, blows my Friday. Got to love the sacrifices we make

Yes, you need to retake.

Upward trend is irrelevant.

Practice your ass off, be prepared, and knock the test out. Don't see the point that it is your 21st birthday; if anything that is a great excuse to go out and get wasted afterwards.

Also, I'd refrain from whining about not being a morning person, but that's just me.

I dont like to complain, but i think that on this test every little thing might make a difference. I agree though, i think that i should retake and i think it would be 100% impossible to do any worse than 158. Impossible

Then no question. Get to studying and appreciate the drinks you'll be able to afford in your future because you improved on your LSAT and got into a much better school, got scholarships, or both.

this perspective might be the root of your #'s.

man up.

ask yourself if in 10 years, you'd rather have single malt scotch or $8 whisky.

a 158 with your GPA is a sure ticket to a TTT.
