I dropped about 3 points on game day. I took the advice very seriously about not giving myself any breaks in terms of timing and having some kind of distraction in the background, unfortunately what I wasn't prepared for was lack of sleep. Most of my prep tests were done after having a good night's rest. I think adrenaline got me through the first four sections, but I made a couple of silly mistakes toward the end of LR2 that cost me my average score.

LG: -11
LR:-17
RC: -1

Score: 158
PT avg: 162
Projected score before it was posted: 160-164.

FML I really wanted at least a 160+. Got owned on LR, which I had thought I nailed. Just goes to show you that your gut feel can be very misleading. I'm not sure what I'm going to do because I won't be able to take the test until next June (LS 2013). It is really amazing how you can take 20+ PTs, really feel confident, take the test, really feel confident, and then open that email and get the wind knocked out of you.

Real thing: 175

Boss. No idea how long it took you to take all 62, but did you do any prep prior (for example, PS Bibles) or were the PT's themselves your prep?
I started prepping on and off in September 2009. Did 2 or 3 PTs, wrote February 2010 and cancelled because of nerves, and put it on the backburner until August. Did another 10 or so PTs, read LGB and LRB for October 2010 and got a 165. Then, I decided to get serious and prepare straight to June for it, doing each LG 3 times, doing drills almost every day (if not, every other day), and then doing 8 section PTs (mixing up a brand new one with an old one to build endurance). I also read Scientific American/New Yorker/The Economist front page to back page frequently to build RC skills.

My initial diagnostic 5 or so years ago was a 149... so a 26 point increase is doable!
Currently in the process of (hopefully) doing all the LSAT PTs out there by October 1st. Ive done 10 or so as of now. Do you think it's reasonable to do 50+ more PTs by then? It would mean doing one PT a little more than once every 2 days
