One thing I realized that helps you sound less like a batshit crazy law school elitist to people outside of TLS is to not mention the T14. Or even tiers. No one seems to know what this is. My pre-law advisor looked at me like I was nuts.

Yup your just hanging out with the wrong crowd. I remember when I used to be proud of my 3.5 undergrad GPA. Apparently now its a badge of shame.

edit: that's top quarter at my state school... none of this Cornell 3.6 median bullshit...

This is true. I guess if I was paying $200k for undergrad I would expect nothing less than a generous curve.
