So unsure and lost
Hey, so I'm very new to the boards (I wish I discovered TLS prior to June 6, but c'est la vie) but after taking the exam and giving myself what may arguably be the greatest pep talk in all of history (screaming positive reinforcement to myself in the car while The Edge of Glory was blasting on the radio) I feel that I could have gotten anywhere between a 150 and a 175. I've seriously never felt so unsure about anything in my entire life.
This one day has really affected my job performance and I just can't help myself but to think about how helpless and confused I am.
Please tell me I'm not alone.

I literally feel like I could of gotten anywhere to 175 at one pole and 140 at another pole.
PTing in the low 170s.
Waiting until the 29th (or 25th, 26th 27th) is going to be unbearable.

..I seriously could have scored anywhere between a 155 and a 175. It ALL depends on the RC section for me, we'll see!

I took mine in october, felt the same exact way. I scored only one point below my pt average. I didn't even remember any of the LG's people were talking about. I was like a blur.

Aside from the upper possibility of 175...I feel ya. I'm completely 50/50 on whether to cancel or not.

I have a feeling most will do better on the reading comp than they anticipated right after the test.

I agree Reading Comp is a -0 to -4 Section for me and I've NEVER done it and felt like it was easy.

Agreed. The RC killed me. Apologies for sounding elitist, but I am very confident that I got all LG questions right. I was on cloud nine at the break. But my RC section, which was post-break, made me feel queasy.

And thanks for letting me know that I'm not alone. June 29 cannot come soon enough.

Re: So unsure and lost
I am having the same thoughts and concerns. I felt great before, during AND after the test. I barely remeber the questions and I know I guessed on two of the questions in LG. Other than that it could have gone either way!
I went in determined not to cancel and I feel the same way right now. I can't justify a cancel becuase I felt confident and secure leaving the test. Plus I had excellent test center conditions and everything went so smoothly that I can't find a simple reason other than the fact that I am unsure of my performace but then again I have always been sooo 50/50 while taking PTs only to find out that it wasn't as bad as I thought.
The waiting is the worst but we have to try to occupy our time with something other than the June LSAT. TLS is so addictive that I find it almost impossible to do...trying my best!

Wow, I could have copied this word-for-word (other than getting 1 or at most 2 wrong in LG). I felt so amazing at the break. My experimental was RC and it was really great. I was thinking that 170+ was a given during the break.... and then came that damn RC section. And the LR2 was a bit harder, but not unbearable. I don't want to cancel though. I think I got between 155-170, but am hoping for at least the top half of that range... my worry about canceling is if I get sick in Oct. or something comes up, or a game or passage that is impossible shows up, then I'll be in this situation if not worse and waiting until December is tough.

C'est terrible, juste terrible. Donc, dans un facon bizarre, c'est la vie! (Parce que la vie est parfois terrible)
Guess I haven't lost it all!

You are not alone.
For what it's worth, I got the standard TM email today recruiting instructors who think they scored in the 98th, and the email read the scores will be released "...on or around June 24th". Not to say this is a reliable source, but I would count on it more than some other guesstimates floating around.

I think everyone's in the same boat... I'm personally somewhere between 150-170 I'm guessing, with my average practice test at 165. It doesn't help that I tend to do RC and LR based mostly on intuition which makes it really difficult to guess how I do on those sections. Wasn't too concerned before the test but now I'm going caaaaraaazzzzzzzy.

Re: So unsure and lost
I took last October. I was PTing between a 166 and 169. I thought I fucked up on part of a section bad. I went home and laid on the floor for hours while my GF tried to get me up as we were supposed to go to a friends bday party. I wouldnt get up. I was distraught. Wanted to cancel, but got talked out of it. My score came, and I got a 166. But I also did fuck up exactly what I thought I did, missing 6 questions I wouldnt have normally missed.
idk if that is encouraging or discouraging, but thats my story.

I hated that test. Took last June and thought I did about 5 points better than I really did. But it was my PT average, so no complaints really. 'Tis a cruel mistress, the LSAT

Re: So unsure and lost
I was going to make a post about this but refrained, so I'm glad to see so many people have the same sentiments I do. In ColdShoulder's recent post about anxiety I mentioned that I always have at least 5 minutes at the end of every section to review, and I ran out of time on almost every section. Upon leaving the test I literally couldn't remember anything I had just done. I felt like I was on autopilot the entire time and can't really explain how or why I chose the answers I did. It's definitely pretty scary stuff and I definitely could have scored anywhere from 150 to 170. I'm leaning towards keeping my score just to see how I was actually able to perform in that situation, and luckily I'm shooting for a school that doesn't average (and do to circumstances, I have to get a good score this year and apply).

Re: So unsure and lost
Believe me, you are not alone; there are about 25, 000 people that will be feeling the same way until June 29.
My June 2011 format was (LR, LG, LR, LR, RC); I felt that this was the hardest RC I had encountered thru PTs 52 - 62, including Superprep A, B, C.
My PT range was 155-167, with a mode of 160. Honestly, I have no clue what to expect, but if I didn't at least hit my mode, I'll be retaking in October 2011....

Guys so glad to find the group here..... I am completely the same (other than I know I won't hit 170)
I think my range is around 150-168, and I am completely unsure and lost.....
RC oh RC why do you have to be so cruel.
