Would you take the LSAT during midterms?
If you had three other exams the week of the LSAT, how would you feel about taking it that Saturday?
Debating sucking it up and taking during midterms or holding off a year.

I took it during finals, which definitely sucked. It's doable, just make sure you figure out your gameplan and stick to it.krasivaya wrote:If you had three other exams the week of the LSAT, how would you feel about taking it that Saturday?

I think it depends on how much preparation you feel you need. I didn't really do very many PTs personally, I might have been able to pull off this whole midterm scenario? I'd really rather not though.
Can't you just take it in October if you want?

I'm having trouble finding any decent job this summer so it would be great to spend it studying for the LSAT, but if I do October is really my only choice.
I hate the LSAT dates. Hate them. How'd you do Knock if you don't mind me asking?

Only if you're willing to retake if you do under your PTs.

Re: Would you take the LSAT during midterms?
I was in a similar situation and chose to take in February, overlapping with midterms, instead of June, which coincided with finals. I don't think it's all that bad.
First, by the time you've been studying for two or more months, if you're using a regular study schedule you should know how to plan around your practice tests and reviews.
Second, even if you take a hit on a midterm or two you can always make it up during finals.
Third, by the last week or two you should already know what your range is and what a realistic score is going to be. You're not really learning new tricks, just practicing old ones more. Basically, I don't think what you lose because of stress etc. is going to be too significant in the grand scheme of things. As long as you're not distracted on the test day itself, a little more commotion during the few days preceding is going to change a lot.
Just based on my experience though...

I took it 3 times FWIW, and all 3 times I had either midterms (Oct, Feb) or Finals (Dec)
