171 was my PT average before the December test. However, nearly all of my misses came in the logic games section. I did tons of games for 2 months and only improved a little bit. Maybe I just did something wrong that I could rectify?
I got into 1 top 10 this cycle but am not sure I will attend. I might apply next fall. HYS or CCN would be nice.
I'm not sure if improvement into the mid 170's is possible, but if it is, should I consider taking the LSAT a third time?
162/170/retake for next cycle?

You got into a T14. Go to school, get the grades, start making $160k a year sooner than you would if you went to HYSCCN.

I am kinda in the same boat with a 165 on Feb 2011 LSAT and was PTing at average 168. Wondering about retake.
I did all 62 PTs, so anything I use again for June 2011 will be a reuse. Worried if reusing PTs will hurt me, since I may go into the June 2011 test thinking it'll be easier than it will actually be. Did anyone reuse PTs and improve / drop LSAT score?

Reusing prep tests will not hurt you, it will help you. PLEASE reuse them, then reuse them again.

definitely retake and research the best methodology on LG (Atlas, LGB, TLS, etc). It's a shame that LG (the easiest to improve) is what screwed you over in the past.

Reusing will not hurt you. Specially if your weakens is LGs. Repetition can help you understand the concepts better and it can also help you get faster. I'm sure there is a whole lot of threads about reusing PTs and they all conclude reusing is fine and benefitial.
If you go back to the earlier PTs you took, are you sencirely going to remember all the questions and answers for every LR and RC section? They might seem familiar at best unless you have an incredible memory.

Thank you very much. This helps. I'm from Asia, so sometimes have a hard time telling when Americans are being sarcastic / humorous or not. (English is not my first language.)mac35352 wrote:Reusing will not hurt you.
