Will it benefit me to get the powerscore bible for logic games if I am scoring between -0 and -2 on PT for the Logic Game section with roughly 5-8 minutes left out of the 35 minute time limit?
Just trying to figure out if I really need to spend the money on the book or if I should focus on the other sections. I have scored 168 and 170 on the past two PTs I have taken but I scored a 157 on the real LSAT I took back in February 2010 (no prep and was in Grad School at the time). Did I just have a bad day or am I just getting lucky on the LG sections so far with my PTs?

Re: Question about Logic Games
What's the sample size for the -0 and -2 range?
Also, what PT's are these numbers from? Personally, I think the more recent games sections have been easier (for the most part).

It is from 4 tests so far. Three from 1996 from the 10 more actual official LSAT book and the June 2007 from the LSAC website.
I scored -2, -0, -1, -1

I dont think you need to be occupying your time or financial resources on anything for LG. Four PT's is a meaningful sample size you clearly know what your doing. In fact spending time learning strategies from Powerscore or anyone may be detrimental and interfere with the intuitive grasp you have on analytical reasoning already.

I don't remember anything specific about those sections, but judging from how I did on them I'd say they're of average difficulty. I would suggest that you concentrate more on LR and RC because you'll stand to gain more from practicing those sections. FWIW, try Oct 97 and Dec 98 games sections if you have the time (they're harder than average imo) just to get a better picture.
