I would just be refreshing my email as opposed to the LSAT page. I don't really care where the score comes from, I just want it to come now.

But then it wouldn't jump out at you when you weren't ready for it...you'd see the subject and sender first, prepare yourself, and then boom.
That's why I decided not to check the LSAC site, and instead rely on my e-mail notification. We'll see how that works out...

My guess is that they sent it to people who have taken the test at least once already (ie people whose email addresses are already in their database); trying my hardest not to read too much into this...

No, be happy. The email's subject line was:

LSAT scores to be released soon

I was only able to see part of the title, so I ended up seeing:

LSAT scores to be released

God I hate them for that.

I haven't applied anywhere yet. Applying next cycle.

Maybe they sent it to people who've applied somewhere already? Idk...

This was my reply to Florida Coastal:

I would use the high res version here to convey my real feeling, but it might be a little overkill in case anyone is looking over shoulders around here.

Theories are unnecessary all the schools who send you stuff like that get your name/email from LSAC. Every time I've been signed up for an LSAT I've gotten emails like that. The first time through the third time and I haven't applied anywhere.

Hang around a little longer and you'll see how annoying it is to see the same theories posted over and over for no reason.

I busted bubble, which means I got out 10th, right before the fuckin final table. I had AK suited and guy with AQ unsuited calls me and catches a damn queen. I hate poker and love it at the same time. I had second most in chips, so I could have cruised into the final table if the guy with the most chips had not called me and got lucky. As is my life, instead of a guaranteed 150 bucks or so, I went home with none. I did finish in 5th place in another $40 tourney last saturday though. I was really hoping to have extra cash, so I can go to a local bar and drink away either my sorrow or joy. I am ridiculously nervous now for the score. I keep telling myself that there is no way I scored below a 160. Let's hope that my instinct is right for once. If not, I still got into some decent T2 schools and life moves on. Good luck all!
Did you just push all in or did you raise, and then he called or reraised? Still a bad suck out!

I am in the exact same boat. I am hoping for a 163 give or take, but if it is in the high 150s I guess Ill be in a tier two school.
The blinds were ridiculous at this point, 1000 SB and 2000 BB, I was BB and had 6000 in chips left after BB, there were 3 guys in front of me. Two of them had like 4000 left and the big stack had like 1000 more than me. I knew that if I only raised, I would be left with barely any chips if the flop did not go my way, so I decided to go all in hoping that they would all fold. Honestly, the guy with the big stack should have folded. He was risking his tourney with AQ when he was guaranteed money if he waited. Unfortunately for me, he called. I should have just showed him my cards and told him to fold. I think if I ever end up that close to a final table again, I am going to do that. Haha, end rant. I hope we both get a 165 and can go get wasted.
Haha, those blinds must have gone fast! I don't blame you, you made the right move. You are absolutely right, he should have folded. There is no reason to call an all in with AQ in that position.

I agree! Come on LSAC, dont let us down!
Actually standard in that spot with < 10 BB but I think poker strat is beyond TLS.

We have to do something to pass the time! I guess I am a little more conservative. I may have called with AQ, but being the chip lead and having the next high stack push might put me off of it. We can all agree it was a suck out though. Thats what makes poker interesting. If AK won most of the time, there would be no stories. That is even more true for AA. God how many times have I lost with AA.

Lets all start an online home game on PokerStars! We can just play until the scores are released!

A) Is the theory that lsac sends certain info to people who have already participated in a cycle that common?

B) It was not posted for no reason.

C) don't think I'd ever get grumpy with people for something that doesn't really matter or affect me.

Is there a limited amount of cyberspace TLS is allowed to consume before it implodes? And with each post it gets nearer to that? Is that why people get grey hair over repeat posts?
This is the only logical explanation I can generate.

Find some other stuff to worry about...much bigger problems out there!

I'm really glad I have Mardi Gras festivities down in NOLA to help me with the anxiety of waiting. I don't know how the rest of you guys are doing it. MG = Work closed tomorrow = enough time to down a few cocktails by the time the emails start rolling out...

And, pretty sure AK does beat AQ most of the time, that's why there are stories when it doesn't. Which doesn't mean those stories are interesting, because it happens to everyone.

/LSAT annoyance fueled rant while 12 tabling tilt.

I meant AK vs any other two cards, in which case it still wins most of the time, but it feels like it doesn't. I get so tired of getting cut down by lesser hands. In the end, I suppose I was just stating the obvious.
