I took December and got a 159 and was pissed. Did much better this time and guess on SERIOUSLY about 10-12 fewer questions. December was the worst for a first timer in the middle of exams. I was taking 18 hours and had exams every day leading up to the LSAT and one day afterward.

This time I finished everything 2-7 minutes early except the LG which I got about halfway through on the last game - maybe a little more, and I filled in E on the last question of games 2 and 3. I'm expecting anywhere from low 160s to 170 (reach).

I had a whopping bronchitis to go with my LSAT. That royally sucked.

So did the real LG section have the paintings game? That's the only game that I remember- had to blindly guess on three questions because I ran out of time. And I usually finish the games with time to spare...

On a lighter note, I am seriously impressed with people's ability to remember the test. I automatically blocked it all out as soon as I walked out of the building.

RC, LG, LR, LG, LR here.

Yep, that was the real LG. Seemed somewhat easy - at least the paintings and movies games anyway. The two LR sections weren't bad either.

If anything threw me it was RC. I took PrepTests 57 (Dec. 2008) through 62 (Dec. 2010) and never had an RC section like that - caught me off guard (damn you UNESCO!) Kept mixing up descriptivists and prescriptivists in the language passage too :? Was really hoping section 4 or 5 would be another RC, but alas.

On the bright side, I completely destroyed the writing sample

I ended up with RC, LR, RC, LG, LR.

The 1st RC was experimental - the only thing I can remember from it was the African American comic strip artist.

Err...I remember a passage about chemistry and its relation to physics. Dunno which section.

RC is my strong point - and I think they were quite easy in this one. Course I could be wrong lol.

LR - no clue.

LG - didn't even get to the last one. Did guess and check for the snow plow definitely. Froo all of them actually. :)

Didn't sleep well the night before and that didn't help for the LG. Can anyone give a general impressions of the last LG game - easy or hard? Easier than the snow plow one?

Honestly, I felt all the LG was HARD but then LG is not my butter and bread. And I was burned out. :)
LG are my bread and butter, and I thought these were awful. Granted, I was having back-to-back panic attacks the whole time, but I still usually get 100%.

I feel like I missed the tricks for all of them. Plows and cities I got but took too long, so between paintings and films I had to guess on 3. Ugh.

2. I was so brain dead by that time that instead of making it easy on myself and calling it trip two I said "the first trip" and "the second trip" the whole time. I also hated LSAC the whole time for not giving them names.

Agreed. I almost thought of making up names. But then didn't. And probably actually wrote a coherent ~700 word essay.

Pretty sure this writing sample specificity is a road to bannedville. I'd recommend against it.

Nah you're fine. It was directed at the edited posts above yours. They were quick enough to save themselves from the banhammer, but not from my withering looks of disapproval.

Was my reference to the writing sample too specific? I'll edit if it is.
