it's on my calendar  And I'm supposed
to do my first PT since my diagnostic so hopefully that goes well...
Good luck! I'm taking my first PT since my diagnostic in about a week. Hopefully we'll both see major improvement!
Well, I just took PT 19 and got......a 160. As in the exact same as my diagnostic. But I wasn't too upset because I did get a -1 in LR2 with 3.5 minutes left over (yay!), and I got a -9 in RC because I made the rookie mistake of getting caught up on the science passage (2nd to last) and not realizing that I only left 1:20 for the entire last passage and Qs. Oops. However, LG kicked my ass. I got a -13. God I suck.
have you gone through the LGB? if not, that may explain why you aren't getting -4 max on LG.

You think you get -4 max on LG until you do the June 2010 exam

i cancelled that shit last year because i misread the mulches rule. When i retook it at home, i missed 2 on the interns solely due to the time constraint.

I also misread the mulches rule. It was highly confusing.

i tend to go braindead circa 3pm, so need to train endurance for the afternoon test. I'm much better in the mornings, but there is no way i'm waiting for Oct. This is it.

I just started the grouping games chapter. I really need to pick up the pace in getting through that book because games are my Achilles heel. If I actually know how to do a game, I still take like 11 minutes to do it. Ughhhhhhhhhhh and I really want to get 170+ ...

I can't speak for everyone, but from my observations there were a lot of light bulbs turning on during the session. I personally thought the session was the best two hours of prep I had all week!

EDIT: To provide evidence for that, I just took an untimed LR section, PT 30 Section 2, and just posted my best LR score by 4 questions!

Where do you hold study sessions? If online, I would definately like to join.

Out of curiosity, why are you taking the newer preptests so early?

Hey guys,

I'm hopping on the bandwagon- retaking from October. shooting for 167+ this time.

lack of endurance + fatigue from lack of sleep killed me on the last test.

Good luck all!

How many hours and days of the week is everyone studying?

Anyone attending school and/or working?

I was working 12hrs. per week. Starting Mon. I will be working 9hrs. per week!

Wow, the things we do for the LSAT, LOL!

Should I not be taking the newer preptests? There was no good reason. I'm just taking them.

I'm studying about 6 days a week. Usually M,W early mornings (4 hr each) and late nights (2 hr each), Tues nights (6 hrs) and as much as I can on the weekends (anywhere from 10-20 hours). I'm a full time student and work part time. It sucks, but hopefully it'll be worth it in June!

I'm deciding to forfeit internship experience this summer to focus exclusively on studying for June. My theory was that even if I were to raise my score an additional 1 point through studying full time from May 1 to June, it would be worth the sacrifice of not having another soft. I think the substitution of experience with full time studying that last month will be worth it. Any thoughts?

the consensus is to start with the older tests, and do the newer ones in the last month or two before the test date.

Unfortunately I won't be able to make Thursday nights (night class) and the occasional Sunday night (pointless UG meetings, blah). If anyone is unable to meet Thursday/Sunday night(s), PM me if you are interested in setting up shop in the room at a different time. I was thinking that we can follow the regular plan of the group, just at a different time if there are those who can't meet Thurs/Sun night. So, this week some of us could work on the 10 Hardest LG on Schwartz' blog. +1k to JG7773

probably not going to make the Sun meeting agian (wtf, i know). going through the 10 hardest LGs today (currently doing the snakes/lizards).

I can potentially meet in the room on Sat or before then, to go over these games. WIll post here when finished and ready to review.

We actually went over Snakes and Lizards two weeks ago. I think has a group we may have unlocked some good inferences. Let us know if you have any problem. . .

I'm still in school- taking 5 classes with boatloads of reading. But now that my athletic season is over, I have weekends.

I'm planning on taking two to three PT's a week, with lots of reivew.

When I was studying for the previous test, I took PTs 1-30 and then 58, 59, and 60. I think that was a serious mistake; so I'm hoping taking all newer tests will be benificial.

Balancing all this studying with my courseload is going to be a serious challenge.
