-15 curve almost guaranteed

Post by anonymiB » Sun Dec 26, 2010 7:57 pm

Because there are 102 questions, were there 102 last December? If there are 101 and the curve is -14 to get to 170, you will need to add 1 to make it equal. I don't think they will do this though, since the extra question benefits the test taker. The curve will therefore need to be set at -15 to stop scores from degenerating too quickly, that is my logic behind it. So, -15 it is

The reasoning above assumes which of the following:

(a). That every test taker will get the "extra" question wrong.
(b). That the other 101 questions were of similar difficulty to the test from last December.
(c). All of the above.

The curves don't need to be equal. HTH.

Lol absolutely not guaranteed, but it wouldn't suprise me. -13 or -14 is what I believe it will be.

I guarantee something between -12 and -15.

With -14 you would need to score 88/102, is that correct? Or does it start at 100?

Jesus I want the score to be released this week. I'm just about convinced they will be released on Thursday.

So excited. I was very impressed by Season 1, so hopefully they can keep it up.
