Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Years Eve, New Years

All days they will be understaffed or not staffed :P

that being said, scores will almost certainly be in on the 31st or January 3rd. They are always early on this one too.

I'm betting on 12/30 or 1/3

Can anyone confirm?

experimental was def 26 one. i had a 27 question rc, meaning everything else had to have 25 for us to get to 102.

Math fail. LG was 23. 27+23+26+26 = 102

i had 2 LG sections, and both the real and experimental had 23 questions.

Out of curiosity, how would they negate it? Is it common for them to drastically curve an exam? It's blatantly obvious everyone on here thinks the LG section was extraordinarily tough.

As well, and on a side note, most people that are on this website are above-average test takers. If we all think the section was particularly difficult, the average test taker will think so, to a greater extent even. Not trying to sound elitist or anything, just an important point.

did you secretly allow a small wave of elitism wash over you like a cool breeze after that, knowing you not only would be getting into a better LS than her but she was helping the curve in the process?

...I think it would be best for my sanity if I leave this thread.

I need a drink. Here's to hoping for a high curve. See you in January.

This curve is going to be -15-17. Not kidding. At least -5 to get a 180. 102 questions is very strange unless you are trying to pwn hard.

wtf?

i feel like the other LG was, like, objectively much simpler than the real, stained-glass one.

I have erratic logic game results. It either clicks for me, or I spend like 15 minutes on it.

I also thought dinosaurs / reptiles were both very easy and apparently they are considered awful.

Above average test takers seem more likely on average to freak out and highly exaggerate the probability of their tanking exams and/or difficulty level. I know I did terrible on LG but from what I remember of the recent PTs I think I have done as bad on a few. :D

The curve won't be that drastic, maybe -14 TOPS. The test has to get harder because of the increase in test takers. Not everyone can get a 160+

I like people who help the curve. There was a guy at my center who was taking the test for the third time on three hours of sleep. Ha

Regarding RC...

I thought the passages were not that bad except for the one about Agriculture and Studying teeth which got pretty detailed in the second passage...

Also I thought Jewett was pretty tough had to guess on 2 because of time...

whats the highest curve ever recorded -14 or -15, i mean really i get the 102 questions part but do you honestly think that test was 2 questions harder than any other of the previous 61 administrations?

Look they have done -14 curves before. And they have done -4 for a 180. I have taken those tests(June 2010) and it was a much much easier test than this test. I think they will bump it up at least to -15. But I am guessing -17.

You must have had a LR section with 25 questions I suppose
