Re: December 2010 Initial Reactions
Pretty sure I bombed this. If I do, just retaking in June and doing MPH work over the the next year and applying super early next cycle. I'm actually pretty excited about this. Only worked through half of LG Bible and a third of the LR Bible in two weeks and was PTing 166 a couple days before the test. I think I might be able to get up to PTing in the mid 170s over the next 6 months and get a full ride to the schools I want to attend. First LSAT was an excellent experience and a wake up call to being completely confident in my reasoning abilities.
Anyone else decided to wait for next cycle after Saturday?

Re: December 2010 Initial Reactions
This did kind of happen to me in Oct. I didn't finish LG (blind guessed on 3), when I usually go -0 or -1. I wasn't at all confident with my performance on RC or LR, though I did finish the other sections. I didn't think I completely bombed, but I was considering canceling because TLS freaked me out about schools that average scores...I predicted like 167. I ended up scoring 172 which was right at my PT average.jwzp wrote:I'm just curious....
Is anyone aware of a situation on TLS where someone thought they bombed and ended up getting something above their PT average? Are there any miraculous (non-bs) LSAT stories?
I think I need to pipe-dream for a few hours to make myself feel better.
I think it really depends on how well you know yourself. I tend to over dramatize everything. Every test I take, I come out thinking it was the worst I ever did. I knew this about myself...so even though I was 99% convinced I did worse than my average, the 1% of me said, "hold it, you always think that and things generally turn out okay."

Reading this thread seems to be the worst thing possible for my nerves... yet I can't stop myself from checking daily. What's wrong with me.

I'm guessing January 6th, which is still 3 and a half weeks away.

Does any one remember the number of questions in each game?

you could easily turn this into a sweet drinking game. As a bonus, you will be drunk enough and later hung over enough not to care anymore. and if you use local breweries, you will be helping out local businesses. A win all the way around!

Just a follow up...it was utilities(6), then stained glass(7), then conferences(5), and the other one (5)?

Re: December 2010 Initial Reactions
Ugh. I'm not so pissed that the LG was brutal in general, but that everyone is saying the easiest game was last. Because I just guessed on it, figuring my time was better spent trying to get some work done on the previous ones. If only I'd worked backwards...
I plan on taking it again in February, but with all this talk of difficulty and curves I think I'll keep the score; I'm curious, at least, and I feel I did great on the other sections.

My testing center only had small right-handed desks and I have had a huge neck cramp since the test. (left-handed) The only other time my neck hurt this bad was when I ate shit wakeboarding. I hate the lsat.

I can't remember what the last one was about either! I was just happy to finish the section.

Re: December 2010 Initial Reactions
The predicted email date for October was the 1st of November, they came out the Friday before.
So we're gonna be waiting until the 7th... damn I was hoping to get my score over the break.
That's a four week(ish) wait as opposed to the usual 3. I wonder what the chances of getting them on the 30th or 31st are.

Does anyone remember how many questions were on the fourth RC passage and the comparative reading?

I wrote the best "worst" writing sample. It was right after Logic Games where I had to guess three. I was pissed.
"There's not enough information provided, but if we guess that this condition implies... then we can assume ... The situation's inherent ambiguity, however, prevents any truly logical conclusions, bitches."

[quote="Diiizzzzoooo"]What's funny is that I remembered all the rules/passage from the Glass game, and without giving anything away, I just made the deduction to practically make it a cakewalk. I did not do this during the test. I want to puke.[/quote

I diagrammed Stained Glass for a buddy at work. He said "Looks tough. You got all that done in 8 1/2 minutes?"
I said "hell no, FML."
