Re: December 2010 Initial Reactions
I am just saying that one of my LR sections, which in this case was section 4 had tons of very odd questions in it. They were clearly experimental. I have taken enough LSATs to know.
But I am currently doubting myself big time because the experimental just can't be section 4.
So you are right.
And to whoever said the thing about breaking the law.. If you were referring to my previous post, notice how I was completely vague. That is totally cool to do. I did not say anything specific right?

The only reason some people are speculating this is because it appears like a popular idea. But following the entire thread, you see it's just the same guy saying this over and over again. No way a -17 curve. Not even a -15. Just not happening. Even -14 is unlikely. It just wasn't that hard. It had one very hard section (LG), the rest was easy points.testmachine45 wrote:I seriously believe in a -15 curve. At least 15 but it could go to 17. This was the hardest LSAT I have ever taken.

Oh, and anyone know how sensitive their computers are to bubbling? I was bubbling in an answer when time was called and I got about 2/3 of the bubble filled and didn't want to risk a misconduct so I left it.

In October 92, there were 102 questions with a -11 curve. Here is the raw score conversion chart that includes that test. Just a reference in case anyone wants to guess at their score.

Most possibly, the curve will be -13 (given 102 Qs in total)...so similar to June and October...

LR, RC, RC, LR, LG
Anyone else have this structure? It's all become so muddled I can't seem to figure out which one of the RC's was exp.

Thanks for this! With my guesses at "the worst it could have gone" I'll still get either the same score...or one below. whew.

Yeah, UGA has a floor at 164, and my GPA is at their 50% line. I figure I went from -18 to -20, so I could still hit the 164. Much lower than my PTs, but it meets the requirement.lisavj wrote:Pricer wrote:In October 92, there were 102 questions with a -11 curve. 'zactly! I'm hoping for Hastings...the 165 original was good enough to get me in there (I hope), so I wanted to see whether or not taking the test stress-free (ish) would change anything. Apparently not. sad.Pricer wrote:Yeah, UGA has a floor at 164, and my GPA is at their 50% line. I figure I went from -18 to -20, so I could still hit the 164. Re: December 2010 Initial Reactions
Stayed off the forums for 2 weeks, this was the hardest LSAT test I've ever personally seen. RC - LR1 - LG1 (fake) - LG2 - LR2
RC - Usually my worst section, Lichens and medical illustrations was easy for me, Jetter or whatever, time-consuming but not bad, tooth decay agriculture, passage B I didn't understand very well which made it tough, guessed on about 3.
LR1 - The harder of the 2 for sure, reminds me of the LR from PT 59 where the first 14 had 2 or 3 pretty tough ones mixed in there, Anywhere from -1 to -5.
LG fake - Easy, enough said.
LG real - 1st and 4th were a cakewalk. 2nd and 3rd, well, 2nd I made the huge deduction, and STILL found questions 9 through 12 to be very difficult, hate "could be" questions in LG.
LR2 - Missed a bubble ............................. Yea I hate myself but whatever, otherwise fairly easy, I could tell right away it was a nasty one. -3 or -5
Overall anywhere from 160 - 170 assuming the curve is what I think it will be ( - 13 ).
This was hard......
EDITED BY A MOD: and a gentle warning about walking a bit too close to the descriptive line...

Re: December 2010 Initial Reactions
This was the same set up I had today.Canadiana wrote:I think you guys are letting the games section colour your views about the test a bit too much. Yes they were tough ++ but there wasn't anything tricky about the other sections (I don't think I did too well on RC but I suck gorilla cock at that section on any test >.<). -12 to -13, generous but not unprecedented.
My test experience:
1.) LR
2.) RC
3.) LR (exp)
4.) LR
5.) LG
6.) WS
Though maybe LR just clicked for me on the day. In October I was way too amped up on the first section (LR) and scored like -9 so I'm 99% sure I did better on this test unless I did something stupid like miss a bubble.
I felt really good about the test today. 2/3 LR sections I didn't have too many issues with, the one I did I don't think was a complete bomb, the RC only had a few that might have tripped me up, and I was able to get 2/4 of LG sections quickly. Another I figured out after setting it up wrong, and the last (colored glass) hit me with about 3 minutes left. I think I got all but one of that correct.
Anything better than my previous score will make this a banner day.
Also, pretty sure I had an LR section that was only 25 questions.

Re: December 2010 Initial Reactions
Does anyone know the individual order of the logic games in the real logic games section? The stained glass game was second and conferences third right? I'm panicking cause I read in an earlier post that stained glass was third... This is incorrect right?

Re: December 2010 Initial Reactions
Any chance anyone knows what the 26th question was for the 2nd LR section? I'm worried because I remember 26 questions on the first one (the one about the children and stairs), 25 on the experimental one, but I was so sure that the 2nd real LR was 25 questions, and now I am scared silly that i misbubbled....

Re: December 2010 Initial Reactions
Stained glass was definitely second, I remember taking forever on it. Luckily I skipped to question 4 and then returned to question 3 so I only ended up guessing on a few.
