I actually glanced at the conference game and then moved on to the fourth game b/c it looked much easier. Looking back, that was the best decision I've ever made on an LSAT. I had never done that before and it helped me immensely since I can look back and feel confident about 3/4 games.

Yeah, that was a genius move for sure. If I could go back in time I definitely would have done that.

I thought LR's and RC were easier than October, no real surprises, but who the hell knows?

This is the only thing that really worries me. On PTs I've had some LR sections where I thought I did really well, but ended up missing like 3. I really don't think I bombed any section, but who the hell knows, right?

Who else in this thread is waiting for these scores to be in to send in applications?

I'm sending in apps that I prob could have gotten in with my 164 by Monday/Tuesday ish. Going to wait on my reaches because the 2-3 days it saves by going complete now isn't worth a longshot and $70 bucks when in all reality theres no way I probably scored 167+

If it goes down to 101 questions and follows last December's curve of -14, a -18 would be a 167. That means all I had to do was do 2 better than Oct10. Even with a bomb LG i think I could do it?? AHHHHH

Yes, it will be canceled automatically whenever the scantron is processed. You should still check your LSAT Status page in a few days to confirm that it is indeed processed properly though. If it's not updated by Thursday, give them a call. Or, if you're really paranoid, print out a copy of the cancellation form and fax it in.

You really think they will have the scantrons in and scanned by Thursday?

I canceled in June... It doesn't process that fast... It updated and I got an email that it was canceled about a week and a half later. I imagine LSAC will be much appreciated if you wait for them to at least receive your test before you call.

Ha I'm hoping for basically an identical score change. 164 in October to 167 now. I was pting a rock solid 169, but at this point I just need 2-3 points to put me into range for my target schools

Even with the stained glass inferences, the questions were so bull and time consuming, I wasted too much time on conferences I think, I had a better chance on glass windows, but that kicked me hard to. A -18 for a 167 sounds golden to me right now.

I had RC-LR-RC(Exp)-LG-LR...... Really glad the Bebop section was the experimental, my mind started losing focus a little toward the end of the third section. It was nice starting LG fresh after the break but, like many people, I spent too much time on Stained Glass and Conferences and had to rush through the last few. I'm hoping that I aced both LRs, I'll need that plus a generous curve to get above a 165 with that rough LG.

Is anyone aware of a situation on TLS where someone thought they bombed and ended up getting something above their PT average? Are there any miraculous (non-bs) LSAT stories?

I think I need to pipe-dream for a few hours to make myself feel better.

Yeah, there was that one guy who wanted to cancel and was going to but ended up with a 170+. He made a thread about it that started with: "I am the dumbest guy ever" - it was pretty douchey. But I wish I was him.

I took Oct. '10 and had RC first--my worst section and started by doing the AA passage (no strategy back then). I was pretty pissed/angry after that section and basically went through the motions through the rest of the exam thinking I'd cancel no matter what. I convinced myself that I'd retake anyway, so I opted not to cancel. I ended up with a 170, right around my PT range of 168-173. I also did far better on RC than I thought I did (was thinking a -6 to -8, but really got a -3).

Now I'm back in that familiar situation of whether to cancel my December exam with a below average LG.

That game about the people attending the lectures was maddening. I was completely clueless and pissed. Especially considering I had an exp LG section that I rocked :/
