section 4 problem 7:

B can't be true according to the stimulus because - the meaning of a poem is unique to the reader's beliefs, and ANY two readers from different cultures or eras have different beliefs.

So a modern reader and a 19th century reader (who are from different culutres and eras) cannot interpret the poem the same way.

But how can A be true! How can someone elses interpretation affect another person's experience? It was stated that each person has their own interpretation based on their own beliefs, not anyone elses.
