Should I be absent from December 2010 lsat?

Okay this is extremely embarrassing. I'm a black Canadian, and I went to a state school in California majoring in Social sciences (criminology and sociology), and graduated with a 3.56 gpa from that University. I had taken community college before that and bombed my first semester so my lsac gpa is 3.24.
Anyways, I took the February 2010 lsat out of panic without prep and ended up getting a 142. Anyways, since then I have been preparing for the last several months, I took a powerscore course, I've had some tutoring and I'm still only getting 148-155, usually my scores are 148-149 which is depressing because that is what I got when I first took the powerscore diagnostic and after months of trying individual sections, taking practice tests, going over my answers I'm still getting the same thing. Yesterday I scored a 146 in a noisy library so I was devastated. When I was first starting my best section was Logical reasoning, worst was logic games (I now get 17-20 correct each time, when I started I only got 8-9). Though not great I was getting 19 in each LR section (now I'm barely getting 14), and reading comp I was getting 18-19 (now I'm barely getting 12).
My questions are, how bad would my chances be if I were to instead take the February 2011 LSAT? Can I get in anywhere besides Cooley if I take the LSAT that late? I've already taken a year off and am not looking forward to having to take off another.
My dream school is Howard. I have no intention of practicing "big law", I would eventually like to be a sole litigator. Since I've missed the cancellation date, what are my options now? I'm not ready and I don't want to have another bad score on my record.
