I got all but one of the questions correct on this game. Since I can't figure out why the answer to question 21 is E instead of C, I think I may have missed an inference.

Can anyone explain why the answer to the question is E?

I'm assuming that you already know that K reviews T and nothing else. (This is a combination of rules 1, 2, and 3: 3 says that K reviews T, 2 says that M doesn't review stuff that J does [so M doesn't review all three], and 1 says that K reviews fewer than M does — so K reviews 1 and M reviews 2.)

In that case, if three review U, then they have to be L, M, and O. (If J reviewed U, then you wouldn't have enough people left to review U, since O would be the only other one who could, by rule 2.) In that case, A is wrong, because M does review U. B is wrong, because O does review U. C is wrong, because J doesn't review U. D is wrong because L reviews U and only U (by rule 1, it can't review more than one thing). E, on the other hand is possible.

I'm saying this in very compressed form; if you'd like a more filled out explanation, let me know.

I'm stuck on this as well. I understand that each of the other answers are wrong, but I don't see why E is right. The last rule states "Exactly two of the students review exactly the same play or plays as each other". I don't see how this can happen if we select E. None of the students see "Exactly the same play or plays."

Thoughts?
