PT 53 RC 21

Would anyone be willing to explain pt 53 (dec 07) rc 21 to me?
It is cyclamen vs typhlodromus predatory mite passage
Question = author holds which principle fundamental to long term predatory control?

I must, first of all, let you now that I might not make the best person to help you as I got two questions(23,27) wrong for this passage.

Anyways, for the question 21, refer to the second paragraph from line 23 (Seasonal synchrony of ~) to the end of the paragraph. It says that the seasonal synchrony of Typhlodromus reproduction with the growth of prey populations contributes to the predatory efficiency. It later goes that, from line 33, these features are well-suited for exploiting the seasonal rises and falls of its preys, and these are common for predators.

The choice (D) says the predator population's level should be responsive to that of prey population, which clearly goes along well with the seasonal synchrony of predator's and prey's reproduction found in Thphlodoromus.
