Moving up LSAT date?

I'm currently registered for the February LSAT, and I've been consistently scoring in the low-mid 170s on my practice tests for the past few weeks. Part of me is entertaining the idea of trying to take the December test instead, in part just to get it over with and in part out out of worry that my scores will start declining if I do this for too long. I don't feel burned out at all yet, and the prep doesn't feel overwhelming, I'm more just worried that I'll get lax with it if I have too much time. Would moving up the test be a good idea, or would it be smarter to see if I can keep improving my score between now and february?

Thanks.

Edit: I'm going to be applying next fall, so timing isn't a concern.

1) very cool you're scoring mid 170s already.
2) if you take december, are you sure any nearby testing locations have openings? and do you know when the last date to change is?
3) if you're scoring where you'd like to score, i'd say why not move up to december. but make sure you don't need to drive 3 hours away to test and make sure it's still an option!
