Borderline October score - will a retake help?

Postby SC hopeful » Mon Nov 08, 2010 5:10 am

Hi guys!

Really on the fence about retaking and could use some advice. After back-to-back RC sections on the October test, ended up uncharacteristically missing more on my scored RC than the rest of the test combined, leaving me with a 166. USC is my top choice and with their median of 167 I'm trying to decide if I should retake. I know I'm capable of scoring higher, but nervous that something will go terribly wrong and I'll score the same or worse. Have a 3.68 GPA (slightly above their 3.64 median) and strong recs. Helllpppp! :/
