163 or lower...then I went to a mock trial meeting today where everyone asked me how I did. I said 161 and they go "wooooooooah that's AWESOME I wish I'd done that well!!!" Now I kind of want to know what my school average is...

161 is a respectable score. Keep in mind most of the folks here fall into the hyper-competitive spectrum within the LSAT takers. A 161 should land you with some very good schools.

I am upset at myself for not bubbling in 2 answers, 1 of which was the credited response. No offense to anyone with 175, but I think I would be losing my mind over the fact that one more question correct would have resulted in a 177.

Tell me about it. I got a 175 and I left a question blank on accident. :| How do you think that makes me feel?

I felt like a biz-nitch when my friend texted me the night scores came out and asked how I did. I told her 161 and how devastated I was. Then she tells me she scored in the low 150s. I've stopped complaining about it to non-TLSers after that.

that last post is so very true. Its okay to complain on TLS about your score, but there are many people out there who would gladly take anything higher than a 150.. it just seems that this site makes you feel like a failure if you are below 170. I would love to know the score range at my test center. Im sure there are many people who scored below our diagnostic scores, even after prep! ( how and what they used to prep is another story)

This cracks me up.

But yeah, standardized tests are probably the second most difficult subject to complain about due to issues with other people who then feel inferior.

Good thing I have TLS to complain to for six weeks...maybe more if I don't improve in December! :D. Y'all are gonna love me.

I don't think things will ever be the same between you and me now that you got a 180 and I didn't. I'm always going to feel inferior and it's just going to be awkward from now on.

But seriously, if you were being serious, it'll be the reverse once you manage a top 1% class ranking and I'm in like the 72nd percentile

lol. I wasn't being serious, and I doubt that is going to happen. Unless you end up going to a far better school than I do. Which is probable.

Is it wrong that there are so many negatives in this that I cant even follow it?

I know people will hate me for this, but I was dissapointed as hell with a 174. That basically ruined my chances at HYS. Sorry.

I wanted to score 165 or above, and I scored 165, so I was initially satisfied. Anything less than a 165 and I'd already have been signed up for the December test.
But since I've been browsing these forums and observing all the disappointment over scores much higher than mine, I almost want to take it again. Moreover, my GPA is unimpressive (3.24), so my score still means I'm going to face a lot of rejections at many of the schools I'll be trying for.

It is OK comrade, only capitalists are satisfied with anything below a 175.

That would be awesome. If test centers released all the scores anonymously as a pdf, that would be the second report I'd look forward to, after my own score.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
