I was PTing in the high 160s and ended up with a 161. ughhh. I want to retake, but I feel like Dec is too soon to make a significant leap. Anyone done this before and can share experiences of how they went about it? Is it best to just take more time to study and apply early next year? I'd prefer to apply to a few schools this cycle, but my 161 is not even an option I feel like.
I at least want a 166 to break Emorys wall of doom.

well if i take feb i for sure won't apply this round. it just seems soooo far away to start applying next year when, for the past 6 months, i've anticipated applying this cycle.lsatextreme wrote:i've been wondering about this exact same thing

I am in the same boat, but I am going to take it again in Dec. Think worst case scenario you have to apply for fall 2012. I think if you have been scoring in the high 160s maybe the Oct. test is not the best example of you ability. I may sound crazy, but this is what I want for me! So hopefully you will go to the school you want fall 2011 . Good Luck!
