PT avg = 167
Hope = 165
Real Score = 161

I dont know if I can do it a third time, all that prep got just 1 more point than last time. I think I'll take my chances with a 161

PT Average = 163
Hope = 163
Actual = 161

I am a non-trad looking to get into Marquette, so I am happy with my score. I was hoping for higher to increase my chances at scholarship $$.

PT average - 165/166
Predicted - 168
Actual - 164

I came out of the test saying no way I got lower than 165. I did. by one point. 164 is the ultimate go fuck yourself score with my GPA, putting me on a waitlist at the two schools I REALLY wanted to go to.

PT average: 172
Goal: 170+
Score: 170

I peaked like three weeks before the test, where I had a stretch of like 5 PTs above 175. I'm not really disappointed, but I'm not ecstatic. Ek. I'm DEFINITELY not going through the agony of studying/retaking even though I feel wholly capable of a better score because, well, one time dealing with this insanity is enough.

PT Average: 170-171

Prediction: 170

Actual: 177

Too bad my GPA is only 3.1 right now. Hopefully my upward grade trend will help. I got A's in 5 of my last 6 classes and I have all A's this semester. My GPA should move up to 3.25 before graduation. Thoughts?

last 5 PT average: 175

prediction: 171

Actual: 172

thoughts: Told myself a 172 was the absolute lowest score I'd be happy with, so I forced myself to be ok with it. Checked the answer sheet and saw -4 on LG and am now thoroughly :evil:

Ya, I try not to think about it, but I could have scored a 172 instead of a 169 if I had done better on LG. I dominated the experimental LG, and was pretty bummed out when I saw the real one that a) the first one wasn't going to count, and b) the super hard LR I just finished was the real thing

I'm just thankful that I did as well as I did at LR - I made some stupid errors on the test but I didn't miss a single one of the most difficult LR questions that were talked about. I only missed 2 in LR overall and one was because I skipped it and forgot to go back. :|

Acing all of those difficult LR questions is what made the difference between my 175 and a 167 or something.

You were so right about the car theft question. When I looked back at it, i slapped my forehead. The answer was so obvious looking back at it.

I think this is the only place on earth where "168" is followed by "fail."

Oh ya. We are completely out-of-touch with reality. I'm kind of "meh" about a 170 and all my family and friends are so flipping excited for me. TLS does ridiculous things to one's perceptions of success.

Absolutely :)
I was on LSAC signing up for December within 20 minutes of getting my score pretty much scathingly mad despite it being 96th percentile.

But hey, I have the potential to do much better and I intend to do so. I saw a guy on here retake a 179 (successfully getting to 180) because he couldn't live with his score knowing that he had a 180 in him. Welcome to TLS.

Well, I'm ecstatic with a 172 (third try following a 157-164!) I wholeheartedly support retaking if your score won't get you where you want to be, but just retaking to aim for pefection is a bit much.
