I missed DUMB questions on LR1. I blame it on it being my first section, it takes me awhile to get into the 'groove.' RC is now becoming one of my favorite sections. I'm really starting to understand what the passages are talking about and it really helps. I missed so many on the exp RC because I messed up on riddled basins. F that passage.

This test has an asterisk though because I forgot to put an answer on the scantron but got it right in the text book (I counted it as correct when calculating my score) and changed the last LG question to the correct answer 20-30 seconds after the section.

I could have avoided that LG problem if I would stop being so anal about doing hypos when I feel I have time. I finished the first 2 games in 10 minutes then started doing tons of hypos for games 3 and 4 because I had time. I ended up on the last question (a stupid rule substitution one) with 3 minutes left but made a fundamental flaw in reasoning and it took me FOREVER to figure out what I did wrong.

I'll be doing every RC section from PT 50-61 this week sometime to get more practice with newer ones (namely comparative passages). Full 5-section tests for PT56 tomorrow and PT60 on Wednesday.

Careful Nonok, those kind of mistakes will bite you on test day, I gave myself a lot of leeway before October and it did not do me any favors. Good effort though!

85 raw, 167 scaled. ew. Worst part was I really thought I was kicking butt on this one. I also seem to be loosing more points than normal on LR. Going to drill some sections later today.

I did notice I tend to make the most mistakes in the last five or so questions of the test, which I'm guessing means I'm psyching myself out.

Yesterday's PT was very very difficult for me to get through. My mind was very "scrambled" the whole time and I kept letting little distractions get to me. I'm contemplating taking two days in a row off... I'll decide later tonight if I want to do a PT or not.

FINALLY hit -0 on LG again. I was on a drought. I actually really like the mulch game on this one, it gets a bad rep that I don't think it deserves. Cannot complain with the 2 I missed on LR, I would have missed them on test day as well. I changed two damn answers in a row on RC from the right answer to the wrong one and ran out of time for the very last question which I got right within 15 seconds of my timer going off but had to count it wrong to be accurate.

That's two days in a row on two very recent tests that a 180 was within reach, feeling awesome going into next week!

I decided to take a break from studying and veg out in front of the tv for the first time in weeks. The first thing that came on was Legally Blonde. I had never seen more than twenty minutes of it before, and the scene that was playing involved the main character doing that record store sales LG. Gah! A fictional character has angered me to the point of going over last week's PT.

Hey, I just did that game! One of the two I got wrong was from it...missed that the question stem asked for the minimum of *new* records on sale not just the minimum of records. Grrr.

And now I've realized your recounting a scene from a fictional movie made me go back and review that game. Ouch.

I messed up a rule on two separate games. I figured out what I did wrong on one of them but didn't have time to redo the whole game. I havn't missed more than 2 on LG since I finished the LGB. Guh. RC might have been a fluke. I felt like I wasn't understanding the passages well at all and had to rush through the comparative one. -1 ties my record for RC. A lot of stupid mistakes on LR, like always.

I did PT 61 today and scored a 164, a personal best. I thought the RC was easier than the other recent tests. Did anyone else feel the same?

I completely felt this way. The first 3 passages felt like they were from the 30s for me with the only exception being the 4th passage which was really abstract.

It's whatever. I have all but given up on LG. I never do any better than that, so if I can eliminate my mistakes elsewhere I can live with that. PT 20 never should have even happened. Taking PTs after a long day with no food and no sleep in the freezing cold is never a good idea.
