I'm pretty sure I saw someone cutting the picture out of their passport.

I think we had 12 total test takers.
At least 6 were confused by and got help from one of the proctors on where to get their "test form #".
Gave me a little boost of confidence before we started...

(while on break)
Girl: Ya, I bought a book of old practice tests and got in the low 150's. I should be fine though I just need a 160 to get into NYU, my bother said it was pretty easy to get admission if your from the west coast.
Me: Oh really, that's interesting (rolls eyes inside), what was your major and GPA?
Girl: 2.7 in Community Health Sciences, I was in a sorority and worked for the provost though. I'll be fine
Me:(being polite) Oh, well that's cool, let me know how it goes for you. Are you applying anywhere else?
Girl: No, I don't want to spend that much money.
Me: Oh, that's a good idea......

Girl: I don't have my admission ticket, but I know all my information. LSAC account number and everything.
Proctor doing Check-In: Sorry, I need to send you to my supervisor. I can't let you in like this:
Girl: (Takes out phone) Look I have it on my phone! Maybe I can go to the library and print it out? I have my usb with me.

Some of the stories from this thread are funny; shit like this is stupid. If you want to pat yourself on the back because someone didn't know that old LSATs are numbered and released as PTs then you should go somewhere else and stop shitting up this forum.

Before the test, older dude (50's+) has his cell phone just sitting right out on his desk

Also before the test dude raises his hand:

"Um..I only brought mechanical pencils."

Luckily no disruptions during the test or anything else.

A girl at my center did the whole test with a mechanical pencil. A cell phone also went off and the proctor's didn't even notice.

Such language is not tolerated on TLS. Banned.

love you Gaia.

I didn't have anything good. Kid got tossed for asking what to do with his cell phone. It kinda sucked cause he could have easily gotten away with it, but he was pretty cool about it. Didn't hear any interesting stories regarding level of prep tho

Are we not supposed to do the cert statement in cursive anymore? My proctor didn't know so I did it anyway. I think they got pissed b/c it took me a while

I don't think so. When I took it in Dec. 09 it said in all caps WRITE DO NOT PRINT and I noticed it didn't say that this time.

You no longer have to write in cursive. June was the same way. In June they didn't say anything about it, and today the proctor must have anticipated the question because she specifically said you don't need to write in cursive if it's not your normal handwriting.

Guy standing near me in line: "It doesn't matter what law school you go to. There's no such thing as "good" law schools, they all teach you the same stuff everywhere."
People agreed with him (!!??!!)

Girl: I heard the experimental section can happen any time, anywhere.

Me: No, it's always one of the first three.

Girl: Really? Cuz I know this guy who got like 4 Logic Game sections.

That was actually how the convo started too  I was just sitting on the steps relaxing and she walked up and started in with that. I personally had no interest in talking to anyone at all

I should have tried to talk to more people. The only amusing thing that happened was because they didn't allow people to go to the bathroom after checking in (aka, they would have to wait until the test started and do it on their own time). I guess a few people didn't hear them announce it before we checked in, because someone asked and the proctor said no. Then this other dude in the back cuts in --

Dude: This is bullshit, I didn't hear it either. I need to go pee, this is BULLSHIT.
Proctor: Man, I don't know what to tell you, we're not allowed to let you go.
Dude: I'm about to burst, I'm gonna pee in my seat!
Proctor: ...Well, good luck cleaning that...
Dude: I'm not gonna clean that, I'm gonna get someone else to clean it for me!
    Proctor: ..........k.

Then the guy who bitched about it didn't get up to pee until the break
