cancel score?

Post by FlanAl » Sat Oct 02, 2010 2:42 am

If the majority of schools don't average what's the point of canceling your score? Do you think a cancel/170 is better than a 164/170?

here's a link about which schools average.

if i'm targeting schools that only take the top score is there any point in canceling my Oct. score (if i need to)?

Also I know someone posted a list of how each school treats multiple lsat's. If someone could post the link that would be great!
Here's that thread: http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... =5&t=35133

A cancel is usually looked over more easily with an addendum I would think. That way even if the 164 was because you screwed up a LG or RC passage you can have a cancel instead and say "oh well I was sick" .. where the 164 you were unprepared

With that said I personally think a 164 is good... I'd jump for joy on November 1st if I saw a 164.. so I'm not being critical rather just giving my opinion.. People who get diagnostic 164's make me die a little inside

hey thanks,

wasn't trying to say that a 164 was bad I was just trying to set up an example where it was kinda obvious the person just studied more the second time. This is most likely my plan, haha.

hey I saw that this info came from a 2008 thread. When did the ABA change it so that they only took the highest score?
