Can't say for sure but I am not convinced we have actually seen the last yet. Those are pretty good tough questions. (Didn't we just have one a few tests ago?)

The double flaw parallel questions are horrible. They're like the single flaw parallel questions, but twice as bad. Do you have a reference for the recent one? I bought the toughest LRs from Cambridge, but they only include questions from up to 38.

The dual stem questions weren't too bad though, I don't know why they got rid of them.


I would like to see a double stem, single flaw question that goes like:

John: Scientists have long established through observation and experimentation that the earth is round. Recent evidence which suggests that the earth is actually flat has turned out to be erroneous. Therefore, the earth is round.

Elizabeth: Your argument is flawed because it arrives at a conclusion based on the lack of evidence against the conclusion.

Elizabeth's argument exhibits which of the following flaws?

D) Uncritically assumes that because a method of reasoning is flawed in some circumstances that it is flawed in all circumstances.

I think the reason they got rid of them was due to complaints that one misunderstood stem could cost two incorrect responses.
