badly shaken by preptest 35

Postby mazz » Wed Sep 29, 2010 7:29 pm

I've been alternatively working from the books of 10 and preptests 50-60. Today I attempted preptest 35 and got completely destroyed by the LR and games. The LR on the tests in the 30s is somewhat different in my eyes. Either way I'm wondering why I fell from high 160s (previous 5 scores 167 168 168 167 169. )

Is there a noticeable difference or is this a straw man I've created to explain having an absolutely crap day? I can't wrap my head around some of these answer choices.

Calm yourself. There is a noticeable difference--at least I was sure there was when I transitioned from the "old" pt's to the "new" ones.

Everyone has bad tests when studying. Some are attributable to stress or overload and some to "changes" in the content of the test. Your "straw man" probably is legitimate.

Yeah I've been switching between old and new to stay fresh. That was with the book of 10 with the preptests in the 20s. Interestingly these older PTs seem more similar to the newest tests

I've taken in the neighborhood of 25-30 PTs and this PT is my absolute bottom. I only missed one in the LG section but the RC definitely killed my score.
