help? burning out over the course of an lsat

Postby rar247 » Mon Sep 27, 2010 2:05 am

long time lurker, first time poster.

i'm having this problem where i burn out over the course of an lsat. i took the june 2010 test and had a 179 going into section 5 (LR 2), and i missed 10. 10! 10!!!

i'm retaking in october but the same thing keeps happening to me on recent PTs...always miss way more in the last section(s) than in the first ones.

any tips for getting over this? drink a red bull during the break?

just to anticipate: before october i had been practicing with 4 section tests instead of 5 sections, but now i've fixed that and the same thing seems to keep happening.

HELP?

I wouldn't drink a red bull since it could make you crash during section 5. I'd suggest eating something substantial during break - I had a banana and a Snickers bar.

If you don't eat during the break, start doing so ASAP. Something like garnola bar + nuts + a drink like gatorade but I stay awal from redbull/5 hour energy stuff etc.

Also do you exercise regularly? It's close to test day but I would say 20 mins a day might keep you alert longer.
