September 2009: logic game 1, question #5

Postby adevotchka » Mon Sep 20, 2010 1:11 pm

Answer choice says E, but I don't see how it's not B. If G was in 601, doesn't that mean L'd have to be in 602?

Thanks.

GM S L H F would disprove B

M needs to be in 1, 2 or 3, so by putting S in 3 you force M to 1 or 2 and F to 5 or 6 and so you need the G L in the first two spots, and M needs to share 1 with G since L has to come after G.
