Highest at 155 from pt 46, going on a downward trend! Help!

Post by wordisbarn » Sat Sep 18, 2010 4:14 pm

PT 44 - 147
PT 45 - 153
Pt 46 - 155
PT 47 - 149
PT 48 - 148
PT 49 - 147
PT 50 - 145 (TAKEN with a cold flu)
PT 51 - 144 (Still getting over the flu)

My stats are not glamorous I admit and I'm just trying to do the best I can for October.

I'm pretty sure i'm going through a burnout phase. I have scheduled my last PTs in this order: PT 52 on 9/20, pt 53 on 9/23, PT 57 on 9/25, PT 58 9/27, PT 59 9/30, PT 60 10/2 last day

My plan was to take 2 practice tests every five days: 1 day to test, 1 day to review, 1 day to test, 1 day to review, 1 day to rest. This seems to make it worse towards every test I've been taking recently....

I've taken my 2008's already and I have PTs from 2007 and 2009 and JUN 2010 left.

Will I be wasting my Practice Tests by following my schedule? Should I just take a break and skip a few practice tests? It seems that the more I follow my schedule my score gets worse and worse or maybe that 155 was a fluke. I know I can do better and I noticed my concentration is way off especially after that miracle 155 I got, must have got to my head... any suggestions or comments?

Take at least one day off from any LSAT related problems.

Also review your questions very thoroughly. It's more important to get questions wrong and learn from them than to get questions right but not be completely sure on how you got it right.

I too have seen the same trend as I enter the PT 40's range. It doesn't seem as though the material has gotten more difficult. However, as the previous poster said, it may just be a sign of LSAT Prep burnout...Hopefully a couple of days of recuperation will help you ease back into your peak performance...Good luck!!
