Which LSAT class is worth spending the money on?
I was just wondering which LSAT prep classes are worth spending the money on; which ones have had the best results. I scored a 157 on my last test for a few reasons (health being one of them) and anticipate being able to do better. I am hoping to score a 165+ on the October LSAT, and am looking to spend $300- $500 on the class.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Most LSAT prep review courses are priced from $995 to $1,495. There are abbreviated & weekend courses that cost less but do not cover as much as the full length courses. Princeton Review, TestMasters & PowerScore are three to consider.
The weekend courses with which I am familiar charge $450 for a 16 hour course that meets for 8 hours a day for two consecutive weekend days.
With a budget of $300 to $500, you may want to consider self-study with the PowerScore Bibles (available on-line or at Borders bookstore--Borders charges about $65 per PowerScore Bible, they stock two of the three, so you should try to get Borders 40% off coupons that are emailed to Borders reward members every month or so) & buy some LSAT practice tests (some of which are also sold at Borders bookstores for eight ($8) dollars each).

If I could find a way to get the rest of the money sponsored, and then had the $900- $1500 to spend on a class, which would you recommend?

I don't believe any of the courses are worth what they charge. Especially if money is tight and you don't have a lot of disposable income.

anyone know anything about the kaplan course that is "advanced"? i heard about it from someone, for people who have already scored a certain score... a 160? i don't know, but i was considering a course,.. but i don't want to be stuck with a bunch of people who don't know anything about the LSAT and this is my third take. the advanced course may be helpful?

My Testmasters class had several retakers, and also me (I scored above 160 on my initial diagnostic), and I think we all got our money's worth.
