That's pretty freaking smart, but what about smudging while you're doing games?

+1
I love to see environmentally friendly suggestions like this. But yeah, what about the inevitable hand-smudge?

Hmmm, this ain't so different from writing on tablet and PDF.

But def. props for this cool, cost-optimizing alternative to paper.

lol yea except it costs ~$15 versus ~$1500 plus not only do most people not have tablets but nor do most have scanners to digitize their materials.

This is an excellent idea. I didn't bother because I was sure wouldn't be retaking the LSAT. Now, I am really regretting that decision. Very smart idea.

that is so legit

lol.... I used a circular saw to cut off the binding of the 10+ preptest books then I fed them into a photocopier. This would have been so much cheaper and safer.

Ink for my printer cost $1.00 per cartridge. One cartridge has enough ink for 500 pages. This comes out to $0.002 per page and I get the paper for free.

I could print every logic game from PT 1-59 over 10 times for what those pens cost!

i considered this but what you fail to realize is that your poorly made chinese printer would fall apart way before you printed the second batch

Genius. Thank you so much for the idea! I've been photocopying each game..... it's been such a hassle. Thanks!

Ignorance is bliss...

Brother Printers are generally ranked pretty high in quality. Mine has been going strong for about one year now; not a single problem. I have printed about 2,000 pages since I got it.

How did you remove the pages from the book binding? I don't have a circular saw and don't want to remove each one individually.

My brother printer broke a month and half and 1,000 page after getting it.

I love how they scam you into buying color ink whenever your black ink runs out (Brother does this intentionally).

Never mind - microwaving the books ended up working. Although it made my kitchen smell pretty odd...

For fucks sake...I just finished printing/photocopying a total of about 1400 pages last week.

180 on this idea OP, if I ever have to print that much again Ill use it.... *sigh

The other option is to use a notebook instead of writing on the actual, that way you could keep your work...if you wanted to do that.

Or you could just buy this 6 pack of ALL black ink...

Are you sure you know what a skill saw is? I feel an exacto knife might have been more appropriate LOL

Whoa. Microwave. Smart!

I've manually ripped the books to manageable chunks before applying the scissor.

I personally still prefer the environment-destroying, cost-inducing route of printing & photocopying. I like physical copies for reviewing incorrect answers and whatever notes or reminders I jolt down spur-of-the-moment. (Also, the thought of smearing really bugs me)

I reason that in the scheme of things-- costs of apps, costs to LSAT material, cost of law school, and potential gains of kick-ass LSAT score-- a few thousand pages worth of printing and photocopying is negligible.

I like dominate the environment Fern Gully style while I dominate the LSAT. I burn every page individually after I'm finished with a pt.
