here's a random question for all those people whiling away the hours before june scores are released... do you think going to a concert - i'm NOT talking an evening at the symphony here - is a good or a bad idea three days before the test? from experience is it better to do absolutely nothing but LSAT studying during the days preceding the test (minus the day before of course) or is it good to take off a night or two in addition to the night before. my instinct is that taking a night off that week would be self-sabatoge, but maybe it would keep me in a better frame of mind... any thoughts?

only you know how you prep for tests. if you're a study til the last minute type, then stay home. if not, then go get drunk and have fun.

I agree that it totally depends on your style. It also depends on your level of prep/confidence and your target score. For what it's worth I had taken around 50 PTs leading into the week before the test and, although helpful, they were a source of stress whenever my score would dip. So that last week I slowed down on them and completely stopped after taking 57 (June '09) 5 days before the test (scored 172). I then used the rest of the week to go over a collection of missed LR questions, tough RC passages, and tough games. I didn't do anything else under timed conditions and tried to do 2-3 games a day. The day before I did nothing but sleep, watch tv, and read some stuff for my summer classes. On test day I did a couple games and an RC passage before leaving my house then about 10 LR questions before checking in. Should find out soon if any of this post is worth a shit. Good luck, hopefully I will not suffer through the next LSAT with you.
