PT13 section 4 #22

Postby thegrayman » Mon Jun 21, 2010 6:46 pm

This is the question about the survey of consumers in Eastern Europe. Can someone explain why answer choice A is the credited response? I am having trouble seeing how the survey violates that principle. :?:

If they don't recognize the brand, how could they possibly give a reasonable response to a question about the quality of the products sold by that brand?

This is a question where you can eliminate the other four options pretty easily/confidently, leaving only A to be the correct answer--whether or not you see why it's correct.

Yeah, I actually laughed when I read the last two answer choices -- they were probably the most obviously wrong answers I had ever seen.
