retake study plan

I don't need to wait until june 28 or whatever it is to know I got a crappy score. Probably should have cancelled, but I'm just too damn curious. So I plan to start studying soon (like tomorrow) for a retake.
Here is what I did for June:
Read LRB once, LGB twice.
Did just about every PT either in sections or as timed PTs.
Re-did all the games by type.
Here is what I want to do before October:
Read LRB again and do Kaplan Mastery (which breaks down LR questions through PT 37 by type)
Re-do all games 1-37 by type (a third time).
Leading up to the test, do PTs 38-60 again as timed PTs. I think enough time will have past that these questions will seem new to me.
Pretty ambitious, ya think? Now you see why I want to start so soon.
Not sure what I should do about RC. If anyone has any ideas let me know. I'm debating between really working on diagramming similar to the Voyager method, or forgetting everything I ever heard about diagramming

You are aware that most people who retake don't do significantly better, right?

Do these people have study strategies, or significant means of encountering people who have conquered the test? Otherwise, you just look like a dick. I thought you should know.

If you mean do these people have access to the Internet and Barns and Noble, yes... I'm sure they do.

What does this have to do with anything? Most people who retake don't take the test seriously enough.

Do you not see all the practice this person supposedly did?
How much can he
realistically hope to increase his score?
The funniest part of all this is he doesn't even
know how well or poorly he did yet.

My bad. You are a dick. I didn't know that, and so I was trying to help you.

+1 Yeah.... hope I don't get to deal with people who assume straightforwardly being "negative" is being "realistic"...

First step, wait one more week to see what you really got on the June test.
If you do decide to retake, you need to take it seriously. I retook but didn't take it seriously (thinking that I deserved a higher score and it would come automatically).

I agree. Most may not. Isn't that what we're all trying to do here is beat the odds and do better than most? I'm sure I can do better than my June test without knowing my score yet.

Don't worry, he also doesn't realize that "most people" don't get a 170+ or even a 153+. "Most" isn't necessarily predictive of a single instance.
